A peek into the professional section of my life I

I still remember those early days—aching to immerse myself in scientific research, only to find the doors locked for students like me.
Medical students stumble upon rare cases, their golden tickets into research. However, for medical science students, the path is different: we are funneled into observational studies, lured by the promise of graduation but denied the reward of publication. Reality disappointed me, leaving me no choice but to search for any research opportunity online.
Participating in reviews became my only lifeline—a gamble between intellectual starvation and the perilous thrill of diving into uncharted waters. They were mesmerizing, like a grand library of knowledge, yet few paused to ask: How does one truly navigate them?
Though reviews became my gateway to mastering research, I wandered blindly more times than I'd like to admit. Yet, with every misstep, I forged new neural pathways—knowledge hard-won but invaluable.
Now, as an expert researcher, I see the flaw in this system. Students, desperate to learn, have no choice but to grasp at reviews as their only passage. Yet, in doing so, we unconsciously harm science.
Reviews are not just summaries— a synthesis, a fusion of existing knowledge with the author's deep expertise. It is a ship meant for seasoned captains, not untested sailors.
