Not story, But Verity

It has been eight years now I came here through the flight bird from the Kongu region, Southern part of India, where the beauty of the land gently lingers. New dreams, new places, new surroundings, new weather. Leaving behind the work I had been doing, the close-knit relatives, the friends I studied with, and the relatives around me, I crossed the sea and arrived here. Everything felt new. They screamed it a desert. They said there was no room for greenery here. When I first arrived, I too thought the same. Now I apprehend how big a lie they told. But this green desert called "Qatar" has taught me that what I thought was wrong. I was scalding on the outside, but ice-cold in the inner. For those with effort, no country or place is an obstacle. For those who seek shots like a stone in rice, even this desert becomes a glittering land.

Here, people with unconversant faces, who I didn't know before, shower us with love beyond measure. I am blissful. This journey of life. This sea that keeps moving. A place where I was born and grew up, a place where I got married, and now, a place where I live my life. Thus, throughout my life, while heading towards the shore, I get off at every place, admiring its beauty. While doing so, I stumbled upon something, and Yes, I stumbled upon a competition organized by the Qatar National Library. I thought I could try. Because this QNL, years ago, sparked a small flame within me. In the first sight, I was amazed by its elegance because it was something I had never seen before. It ignited my passion for reading and writing.

I grasped here that, aside from experience, we can also learn the lessons of life through pile of books.
You know what "Books are our great companion".
When we read books with humility, "It lifts us up and make us stand tall".
I cannot express my gratitude in just one word.
I have learned a lot through this.
In this sea of life and boat of travel, I am journeying towards the next milestone.
When I was dreaming of writing like this, someone knocked on my door.
When I opened the door, it was our cook, who make delicious food for us.
(Still, I am waiting for him to make Umm Ali / Hummus with aromatic scents of Milk / Channa which brings mouthwatering)

It wasn't just him who stood in front of me.
It was Me, Absolutely Me!!!! as a Wife, as a Mom and as a Professional.
Those who made the best use of circumstances and opportunities have climbed many steps in the ladder.
For me, this will serve as a trigger, and I am pleased to create this for the library as my first workout.
With the hope of writing flash fictions, I begin this with a sense of desire.
As the saying goes, "Effort will turn into success one day," I will keep trying. "Until the bitter fruit of life becomes sweet".
Eureka!!! I have found it! I have seen it! Yes, yes, yes, in this country, I found the greatest treasure of my life which I admired the most. Gonna talk about that in my next story. Until then, with love, I remain.
